Let me say that I absolutely do not believe the versions of the teaching of OSAS as taught in todays religious organizations. But I hope you are aware of the fact that a true teaching found in Gods word regardless of the subject can be perverted. The teaching found today in the realm of christianity has been perverted simply because those who embrace this teaching as taught, are not truly saved as how the scriptures reveals it. What then is a truly saved individual? Let me briefly explain this to you so that the truth of the matter can be seen, as the scriprtures truly reveals it. Most people do not understand what it means to be saved, and the condition of one that has been saved. Let Paul reveal to us the truth of the matter in what he said in Gal 2:20 that says: "For I am crucified with Christ:nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. " Please notice carefully that Paul is telling us that he being crucifed with Christ, reveals the fact that its Christ that now lives his life through and for him. Paul says again a little differently in Col 3:3-4 that says: "For ye (us) are dead, and your life (our old sinful life) is hid with Christ in God. When Christ "who is our life" shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory." Now its plain to see and believe that it will be Christ living in and for us, as long as we may live on this earth. Now that being true, did Christ not say that he will never leave nor forsake us? Him saying he will never leave nor forsake us causes me to believe that I am eternally secure in him, and only in him. This "in Christ" position makes us a new creature in him does it not? We being dead (to sin) and our life (sinful life) being hid with Christ in God reveals that we can no longer manifest our old carnal man of sin. Since it will be "his seed" that "remains in us" as I John 3:9 states, then this truth can clearly be seen and understood. This is how we can be eternally secure in Christ, and not how its being taught in the religious world today. Sin is the determining factor that proves one to be of God or not. The millions who say they are saved and still live in sin are only deceiving themselves. They being not saved cannot lose salvation simply because they have none to lose. If one truly possesses the salvation of God, having become an entirely new creation in Christ, then sin will no longer be in their life because they have been born of God and do not and cannot commit sin, as I John 3:9 and I John 5:18 clearly states. Yours in Christ,
