Re: 2 proverbs that are helpful to me
Posted by fm - October 30, 2001 at 11:44:27am:

...helpful when I can remember them at the right times:

A fool shows his annoyance at once, but a prudent man overlooks an insult. (Proverbs 12:16)

Even a fool is thought wise, if he keeps silent, and discerning if he holds his tongue. (Proverbs 17:28

Remembering at the right time would be good!

Here's one from Isaiah I read today.

"If you do away with the yoke of opression, with the pointing finger and malicious talk, and if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday.

Wonders never cease. My friend I've mentiond having difficulty with has been like a new person today. Don't know if it was my prayers or hers, or if her new medication has kicked in! Any way, I'm thankful things have been so much better.
