Would not those inherent aspect of humanity, masculine and feminine, affect or perception of God? I will be sure to look up those scriptures sometime soon, but if our society is basically set up with men as the head of home, industry, and such and such, wouldn't that affect how we look at God? I know you have a good knowledge of anthropology, far greater than mine to be sure, and I am sure that you have seen how culture affects religion. Of course maybe I am looking at it backwards, maybe since God took the role of father, our society and culture is affected. Which would make most of what I just said moot. Drat.
