Jesus said "Ask in my name and it will be given to you". Many over the years have asked "What is the 'it'?" Well, it must be something that if you ask for in Jesus name, that it WILL be given to you, without fail. That rules out basically everything a human being can see or physically sense. Now, don't get me wrong, I know we can pray for things such as the health of our loved ones. But as we know, we don't ALWAYS receive what we ask for in those situations. If Jesus says it WILL be given to you (and "will" means "without fail" and "every time")then "it" CAN'T be those things we can sense physically. My view is that "it" must be salvation, peace of mind and spirit, grace, and things of that nature which only God can give. Anyone agree or disagree? George
