I've always been intrigued with the gap theory and somewhat open to elements of it. But I don't see enough clear evidence in the bible, where it is laid out in black and white that dinosaurs and angels dwelled on the earth before "the beginning". I think it would explain one or two things were it to be true, but I can't nail it down without piecing together an argument that calls for lots of loose translation. There are a few interesting angles to this, nephilim being one. But none of it changes what I must do to be saved, which IS clearly laid out in black and white. Were you implying that Job lived previous to the events in Genesis 1:2? Never heard that one before. May the word of Christ dwell in you richly, Louis.
