So Jesus is not Messiah until we see world peace? I don't get it.

This is just a thought, and I'm not convinced of its validity. But I'm not so sure that we're not in the milennial age of peace where the lion lies down with the lamb, spiritually speaking in a "word picture" sort of way. If these things are taken allegorically to represent the peacefulness of the spiritual Kingdom of the Messiah, the church, Zion, etc....it could be that we're taking figurative language too literally when we expect world peace among unbelievers. I don't know about you, but I feel a great deal of "love, joy, peace," etc. in the Kingdom of Christ right here right now, regardless of the trials that happen in this temporal life. Could it be that we are making the same mistake as the apostles were in expecting a worldly kingdom instead of a spiritual one?

I am also not convinced that the scriptures teach a full conversion of all Jews before we can say we have a Messiah. He is the Messiah right now, IMO.

Again, just a thought for consideration. I'd be interested in other opinions.
