Hi Dave,

I really appreciated your 1st message as well as William's (which came right after). And I truly agree with you when you say that Satan wants things to happen that divide us. My struggle is not with getting Brandon's zeal for the Lord back, it will be with my mom. If we allow Brandon to continue in the church without getting this cleared up with her, I may lose her also.

So my prayer is this, that I can take everyone's suggestions to the Lord in hopes that he picks the right words from them all, and then allow me to gently and lovingly convince her to not be so carved in stone about it. I'm sure as Kathleen stated "And it is usually done in the name of being RIGHT" .

My mother feels that she only has a little time left and that she needs to help as many in her path that she can. This should be a good thing. And since Brandon is only 13 years old and has Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), it appears that the only reasonable thing to do will be that he get baptized again. But it has to be his decision. I don't want to push him.

Please pray for us. Joanne
