I dont recall that magic is ever stated as being only evil when recieved from a higher supernatural being. I just recall it being fairly black and white, sorcery is evil. Or at the very least, any supernatural power not from God. And I see nothing to suggest that Harry Pottter's power originiates in any kind of faith, Christian or otherwise.
