First, I am not Mel Gibson fan, although I have nothing against him, as he seems no worst than others in his profession. From what I've read, I am neither impressed nor disgusted by the idea behind making "The Passion." I can see no way possible to make a movie about Christ's death that is not extremely bloody and filled with gore and violence, because that's how Jesus died. If it is a reasonable depiction of the type of death Jesus suffered, I have no problem with it. With that said, I am VERY skeptical about a movie being Biblically accurate. Considering the religion that Gibson professes, I can see several possible issues that I would look at closely to determine accuracy. As for the media's response...of course it's biased against Christianity. Hollywood, the major media outlets, the DNC, ACLU and many like them show anti-Christian tendencies fairly often.
